Efficiency and popularity of fireproof windows make manufacturers create new modifications and expand scope of their application. Natalia Korovaitseva, manager of architectural projects at PHOTOTECH company, spoke about transparent fireproof constructions and the way they provide desired level of fire protection.
«PHOTOTECH company produces fireproof steel and aluminium constructions with translucent and impervious filling. Fireproof constructions are individually designed and provide protection, as well as outside and inside attractiveness. Transparent constructions are made fireproof due to fire-resistant insert and fire-resistant reinforcement of aluminium and steel profiles with materials resistant to high temperature and fireproof cooling panels. Before buying fireproof construction it’s important to decide what kind of protection, configuration, and set of facilities you need and to plan out the budget for fireproof constructions because they are more expensive than common windows. We use fireproof multilayer and monolite glass – both European (Pyrobel or Pyropane) and Russian (the Shchit trademark). The Shchit glass trademark is a worthy alternative to foreign analogs. It is ultraviolet and humidity resistant, is produced within a short time and may fit in any budget without loss of quality. Common profile systems may also be made fireproof – we reinforce them by filling hollows with fire-resistant materials that keep profiles integral and cool. All PHOTOTECH fireproof constructions are certified, have test protocols, are video recorded. The international ISO9001 certificate ensures production quality. PHOTOTECH fireproof translucent constructions are installed in dwelling houses, kindergartens, schools, health care institutions, office and trade centres throughout the country – from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka and from Crimea to Khanty-Mansiysk».
