FERRARA DESIGN took part in the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 exhibition within the Integrated Solutions design exposition on two concept stands at once – designed by Maria Romanova and Karina Avetisyan. Concept of the stand ICONS OF COLLECTIBLE DESIGN. WATER, AIR. SPIRIT OF FREEDOM by architect Maria Romanova (www.enfilademaro.ru) was designed in classical style, luxury segment. A light beige decorative wall covering with the effect of aging added charm to the composition, and the unique ceiling and column with geometric stripes, in which velvet and silk alternated, created from decorative FERRARA DESIGN plaster, harmoniously fit into the author’s project. The visual illusion of light on the wall, created with the help of these unique coatings, not only revealed the new possibilities of plaster, but also showed the possibilities of collaboration between Russian designers and modern European technologies. The advantage of this coating is also high aesthetics, which is difficult to achieve using other materials.
At the stand THE BOYAR CHAMBERS OF THE KREMLIN – MODERN HISTORY OF RUSSIA by designer Karina Avetisyan (www.s-d-i.ru), FERRARA DESIGN created a unique coating with light golden reflections that revealed the luxury and distinctiveness of this stand. The combination of several types of coatings – Via Condotti velvet decorative plaster and photographs by the famous photographer Vladimir Klaviho-Telepnev, radically transformed the space. This solution increased attractiveness of the stand, became an excellent background for furniture and caused a lot of emotions among visitors.
