The German architect Alexander Radoske created an unusual inward-facing space. A peculiar cocoon, a stand called COCO(N)ASTROENIE, which changes the usual concept of dimensions, helps to focus on yourself and your experiences.
“Moving in a spiral, you make your way from the outside world to yourself. The space that I created on BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 helps to materialize images from dreams, and they flash with bright pictures from children’s books in imagination, gradually quench anxiety and lull consciousness. Here you can be alone with yourself. Traveling inside yourself can be no less interesting and exciting than traveling around the world,” the author of the project says. “Everything is very important in this installation: sound, movement, and lighting. I wanted to combine the visual range and other human receptors, so that everyone entering the exciting surrounding space of the cocoon could feel everything as a whole and tune in to a certain wave.”
The main partner of this design project was the TARKETT company (www.tarkett.ru) with the ART VINYL NEW AGE collection. The company’s specialists successfully combined the key advantages of parquet, linoleum and tile in one product. The key idea of ART VINYL – modularity – involves a lot of features that can reflect the personality and lifestyle of the owner. In this case, the product was used outside the box – for the walls, where all the color palette of natural wood shades was shown in one space. SMART4 (www.smart4smart.ru) became the second participant of the Integrated Solutions exposition at the thematic stand with Alexander Radoske, creating unique smart spaces – projects with the integration of various engineering systems, with individual audio and video solutions and automated control systems. Celestial built-in stereo speakers from Bang & Olufsen (www.bang-olufsen.com) were used. (www.smart4smart.ru)
