The founder of the Competition – the International Construction and Interior Exhibition BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 – announces the start of the 6th All-Russian competition of interior design with international participation BATIMAT INSIDE 2019! Architects and designers of residential and public interiors are welcome to take part.
Judges of the Competition:
Elena Teplitskaya, artist, designer, decorator, fashion designer, stylist. She completed postgraduate studies for design in Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry, trained in Switzerland, UK, Italy. Elena is known as a presenter of ‘Bezdonnye Antresoli’ and ‘Tsvetnaya Revolutsia’ TV programs.
Victoria Kiorsak, interior designer, head of Victoria Kiorsak Interiors and Architecture, art director and mastermind of Silverdragon.london, owner of the gallery of art and design, founder of online school for interior design ‘The ABC of Professional Design’.
Anna V. Medleva, architect, designer. Honorary member of the Product Design Association. Member of the Union of Architects of Russia. Graduated from the Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages. Studied at the Polytechnic Institute of Milan. Founder and owner of the architecture and design studio, teacher at the Moscow Institute of Architecture and member of the State Attestation Committee.
According to the established tradition, one of the winners of the previous BATIMAT INSIDE – Anastasia Izvolskaya – is invited to judge the Competition. Anastasia is a member of the Association of Interior Designers and Decorators, the Union of Designers of Russia, architect, designer, co-founder of the anthropological design studio ARTUP BUREAU.
The jury will evaluate each entry on a scale from one to five according to the following criteria:
- Compliance of the project idea with the topic and nomination of the Competition;
- Compositional and artistic unity, originality of design solutions, creative interpretation of the tasks and objectives of the Competition;
- Compliance of design solutions with the requirements of hygienic, environmental, sanitary, epidemiological and traumatic safety;
- Reasoned choice and correct application of construction and finishing materials, engineering equipment, household appliances, and other materials in accordance with the functional purpose of the premises;
- Economic feasibility of design solutions;
- Suitability of design solutions for implementation (for projects);
- Correct submission of materials and competitive documentation, aesthetic design graphics.
One (1) best project will be awarded in each nomination and section. Total – 8 winners. The best entries of the participants selected by the jury of the Competition will be presented on exhibition boards and will take part in specialized exposition within BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019.
The winners of the Competition will be awarded in March 2019 as part of the business program of the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 exhibition at the Crocus Expo IEC, Moscow.
