The curator of the Interior Design Program at the British Higher School of Art and Design, the designer with more than 20 years of experience will talk about current teaching methods in the field of design, how design thinking causes the creative potential of an individual, as well as how the expectations of design school graduates relate to the reality of the industry and what are the demands to novice designers.
For more than 10 years, hundreds of students have graduated from the BHSAD with the Interior Design speciality, and their careers develop differently. Some of the graduates have gained fame and work steadily in the industry (Nadia Zotova, Diana Maltseva, Maria Petrova and Elena Andronova, Marina Novikova, Natalia Koreneva), others still haven’t found themselves in the profession. What is the secret of success, is it possible to find out your potential even at the beginning of training? These issues will be discussed at the meeting.
