As part of the Batimat Construction Summit 2020, ‘The Digital Ecosystem in Construction’ Forum will be held on the digital transformation of the construction industry.
The forum is a logical extension of the BIM conferences that have been held all the previous years.
This year, we have significantly expanded the topic of expert presentations, which will not be limited to BIM, but will also demonstrate the wide possibilities of IT for the industry, which can greatly facilitate many technological and business processes.
Information modeling, due to the high level of automation, allows to avoid errors and collisions at the design stage, to accelerate the design and construction processes.
The transition to digital modeling only at the design stage leads to obvious economic efficiency, and the Forum’s task is to discuss and demonstrate with actual examples the economic effect, which the transition to BIM can provide at all stages of the construction project life cycle.
We’ll also summarize the results that have been achieved in previous years and outline the prospects for introducing BIM into the industry.
The most urgent issues will be discussed, concerning the introduction and application of BIM technologies in the design, construction and operation of buildings, standards and technical regulation of the industry, prospects for the transition to BIM for developers. Experts will also discuss the use of IT and on-line platforms for effective work and increasing the attractiveness of the construction project for the end user.
Experts will share specific experience in implementing projects using the latest digital tools.
Within the framework of the Forum, an exposition of the most popular software products and services will be arranged.
