The basis of the concept of the stand designed by the Italian architect Vincenzo Stridacchio in the Integrated Solutions exposition at BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 was the loft style, which harmonized different functional zones in one room.
“Exhibitions are often aimed at provocation in order to attract attention, but in most cases, provocative decisions are not practical, there is no balance in them. I prefer to look trivial and predictable, but in the end get a certain and rational result. In each project I pay the greatest attention to style and quality – I always look for the best solution in terms of balance,” the architect says.
A staircase made of perforated metal and wood, which serves as a table as well – the Dream Stairs (www.dream-stairs.ru) – blended seamlessly into the space and gave it a holistic look. Large-format panels made of Slim Stone veneer for finishing one of the kitchen walls were provided by the NORKPALM company (www.norkpalm.ru), which acted as a partner in the implementation of Vincenzo’s design solution. He used black and gray slate Platinum Black (Hong Kong) with a warm beige shade, pronounced relief and interspersed with metal dust. Under various lighting conditions, the stone changes color from light gray to deep black with gray speckles.
Pleasant contrasts with the design of the walls: light porcelain, Siena Prati Multiface 20x20 cm, DECOCER and wall ceramic tiles Ferrara White 7.5x30 cm, DECOCER (www.staropetrovskoe.ru) imitating brick on the kitchen apron. Exclusive handmade carpet DOVLET HOUSE, collection Dazzle 241x172 cm, 100% wool (www.dovlethouse.com), effectively complements the interior and creates an atmosphere of home comfort. Stylish Maron poufs from KORBGROUP (www.korbmebel.com) effectively complemented the interior, creating a living room area.
The linchpin – the controlled smart home automation system – lighting control system (overhead light + LED backlight), audio system (Bang & Olufsen) and TV (Burg & Glass), iPad control interface, BIQ Berker smart switch – was provided by SMART4 (www.smart4smart.ru). The Mila lamps (Halla, Czech Republic), LED track lights (LIVAL, Finland), design and supply of lighting equipment, CTS lighting expert, (www.lival-svet.ru). Another partner of Vincenzo Stridacchio was the Italian manufacturer of household appliances SMEG with Dolce Stil Nuovo advanced series. “In each project, I pay the greatest attention to style and quality and always look for the best solution in terms of balance,” the author emphasized. “In my opinion, SMEG company is able to perfectly meet both criteria and at the same time create appliances that look like an object of art. All series of the brand – classic, retro, modern – always turn out to be of a high technical level and exclusive design.” At the BATIMAT RUSSIA exhibition, he presented Andromeda loft-style kitchen from the Floritelli Cucine factory (www.floritelli.it, www.foglioro.ru) and easily found the perfect product in the SMEG assortment. The resulting ensemble looked spectacular. Visitors to the booth were also the first in Russia to get acquainted with exclusive brand-new small equipment items: a set of devices in the bronze color tone.
