The new collection of ceramic tiles Spanish Fiesta from KERAMA MARAZZI was first presented at the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 exhibition. The collection includes five series, which factory designers associate with Spanish cities. Visitors to the booth could go on a journey to sunny Spain, where many of today’s popular ceramic traditions had their springs. They learned about the new products of 2019, design specifics and technologies for production of KERAMA MARAZZI ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles.
Ceramic tiles, presented in the area called ‘Seville’, featured design elements of traditional majolica with oriental motifs: terracotta, arabesque, bright colors and glossy varnish. ‘Madrid’ series reminded of interior decoration of a magnificent palace. The textures of various types of stone and marble were represented in many formats, including large. Gold decor, embossed decors, inlay effect give this ceramics a particular value. KERAMA MARAZZI showed a remarkable series dedicated to Barcelona, which embodies the free character of the Catalan capital.
The imitations of terrazzo, metal and concrete were presented. ‘Valencia’ series is made in pastel shades and complemented by decors with floral or light geometric patterns. The basis for them included both traditional ceramic formats and trendy hexagon.
At the exhibition, the manufacturer introduced the Pro System material – the porcelain tile, where the pattern is achieved by adding special components to the tile base itself. Thus, the pattern is not erased from the surface of the tile, but is preserved over the entire thickness of the material. This porcelain tile can be used in public places with high traffic. The Pro System porcelain tiles can be decorated. The decoration is made with sandblast engraving, and after that the tile is covered with a protective compound to close the pores.
In addition, in 2019 KERAMA MARAZZI presented wall tiles of 40x120 and 20x120 to create impressive seamless coating effect, the new arabesque-shaped ceramic mosaic format and another hexagon modification of 29x33.
