Designers of the Spanish factory Aparici managed to combine the ideas of the bygone era in one collection and harmoniously integrate them into the modern context. Gatsby vintage ceramic tiles take us to the ‘roaring’ 20s of the last century, the time which was so subtly described in the novel by F. S. Fitzgerald. The golden age of jazz and art deco, the development of cinema and broadcasting, remarkable scientific discoveries and inventions – everything that determined the dynamics of the cultural and social life of this period became a source of inspiration for creating a colorful series of ceramic coatings.
The collection is made of white clay in a single format 20x20 cm with a thickness of 7.4 mm. Openwork splendor, sophisticated luxury, exquisite patterns, noble colors make an indelible impression, causing a feeling of nostalgia. The basic monochrome tile simulating plaster texture is presented only in white color. The selection of Tin decorative elements is much richer, they imitate hand forging and the surface of aged metal. This wall tile is texturized, features exquisite three-dimensional patterns, which amaze with their diversity, it comes in five noble shades: white Gatsby White Tin, dark gray Gatsby Lead Tin, green Gatsby Green Tin, bronze Gatsby Copper Tin, and gray Gatsby Charcoal Tin.
Using state-of-the-art digital technologies, the Aparici factory managed to achieve photographic accuracy in the stylization of natural material and add traces of patina. The surface does not require special care and special attention. Direct contact with water is harmless for it. Enamel is easy to clean and does not trap dirt.
Additional elements will impart finishing touch: borders, curtain rods and original inserts – they differ not only in ornament, but also in size, so that they can be perfectly fit into the overall picture. As a companion flooring, it is recommended to use the Norway range.
The Aparici Gatsby collection will ideally complement luxurious spaces in baroque or vintage style, and will also be relevant in minimalistic, loft and urban interiors.
