Victoria Korneeva and Anna Akhremenkova, graduates of the British Higher School of Art and Design and founders of the Shkaf Architects design bureau, took part in the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 exhibition with the WELLNESS SPA booth. This is a result of co-creation of designers and large companies.
Victoria and Anna seek to get rid of stereotypes and use non-standard functional and artistic solutions. They enjoy working with the architecture of space, where, in their opinion, proportions and rhythm play a leading role.
The Shkaf Architects bureau designs private and public interiors, small architectural forms, furniture and exhibition stands. On the one hand, the booth is closed, on the other – through the translucent walls you can partially see what is happening inside. This is intriguing and exciting. Two asymmetric portals invite the visitor to go inside. The dramatic combination of red and black creates a tense and at the same time intimate atmosphere.
“The temporary architecture of the exhibition booths is beautiful for its transience and vivid expressiveness. Each booth for us is an art object that performs a certain mission, attracts visitors and has the necessary ergonomics for convenient and efficient work at the exhibition,” the designers say.
The Little Green paint (UK), Manders (www.manders.ru), was used for wall decoration. The main partner in flooring materials was Kerama Marazzi, with the Rainbow porcelain tile collection (www.kerama-marazzi.com).
The unusual round acrylic bath Kolpa San VIVO 160 has become a real decoration of the stand by the Shkaf Architects. At the client’s request it may be equipped with various types of massage systems, lighting, chromotherapy. Freestanding PETRA BASIN wash basins made, of KERROCK artificial stone (www.kerrock.ru), emphasized the style of the composition.
