Interior designers Svetlana Shervarli and Ekaterina Tishchenko, founders of the E.S.S.E. Design & Decoration studio, for the first time took part in the BATIMAT RUSSIA exhibition in the Integrated Solutions section with bright and adaptable booth named the Energy of Russian Avant-Garde, where magical transformations took place: from a positive and expressive room it became intimate and mysterious, isolated from natural light.
“A bright living room for those who break the rules and set against the wind. Vital energy, enthusiasm and strong individuality – this is a portrait of its owner. The golden shades of the walls and the sky-blue ceiling from the trendy color palette of 2019 blend with the geometric dynamics of bold, bright, open colors of the Asters artwork by Russian avant-garde artist Aristarkh Lentulov, printed on the floorboard”, the designers say. “Night is coming, and the colors are mysteriously transformed, illuminating the living room with enchanting flowing light...”
One of the most effective solutions in this concept was the floorboard designed by Tarkett (www.tarkett.ru) with the Asters artwork (1913) by Aristarkh Lentulov, provided by the State Tretyakov Gallery, transferred to it. Russian avant-garde artist Aristarkh Lentulov, known as ‘the artist of the sun’, skillfully mastered color and considered its sound very important. The expression of the Asters artwork is manifested not only in the rough image, but also in contrasting open colors. The Tarkett managed to achieve incredible expressiveness of the flooring to preserve the harmony of interior as a whole.
The Best-Paints designer paint (Canada) (www.best-paints.ru) was used for wall decoration. It is environmentally friendly; hypoallergenic and antibacterial; wearproof and washable; dries quickly and is scent-free.
In addition to the production of environment-friendly paints, oils and varnishes for owners of residential property, the Best-Paints Inc specializes in the production of weatherproof, washable paints for sports facilities, children’s educational and medical institutions.
The walls were also decorated with wall panels by Elena Kutuzova (http://kutuzova-art.ru/) – the only artist in the world who uses dual-image technique. She paints in fluorescent colors, revealing two stories on one canvas: one story in normal light and the other in ultraviolet. So two different worlds coexist on the same canvas.
The art of double image creates a world where the static becomes dynamic. Elena’s artworks are unique because she creates the paints by herself, and her paintings are animated by ultraviolet rays.
Shelving units, console, coffee table, made by Manufactory 1904 Nechaev, as well as soft furniture by the Italian factory Porada, were presented by the Mobile Art company (www.mobile-art.ru).
Technical lighting was provided by King David company (www.kingdavid.ru), which has been working in the lighting market for more than ten years.
The oldest Russian company A.P. Technology (a developer of multifunctional electronics control systems) installed the ADA-based home cinema, LUTRON intelligent control of lighting and curtains, ELAN smart home management (www.aptech.ru) at the booth of Svetlana Shervarli and Ekaterina Tishchenko.
