The new KERAMA MARAZZI collection, first presented at BATIMAT RUSSIA in March 2019, is called the Spanish Fiesta. With exceptional accuracy it conveys the mood and emotions that may be experienced only after visiting the traditional celebration of this vibrant country. It includes series of five directions, which designers of the factory associate with Spanish cities.
Every day, each city in Spain is a colorful carnival. The KERAMA MARAZZI exhibition stand in one instant carried the guests under the bright Pyrenean sun: orange trees, flowers, a colorful Gaudi-style bull, and, of course, tiles – the main decoration of Spain. Seville, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia – all these amazing cities, full of vivid impressions, decorated the new collection with bright colors, authentic ornaments and bold combinations.
The series dedicated to Seville convey a flavor born from the fusion of several ceramic traditions. Bright majolica, Mooresque ornaments, fancy decors are represented with a variety of designs, colors and shapes, including mini-formats that have already become fashionable classics.
Madrid series recall interior of a luxurious palace. Textures of various types of stone and marble are presented in many formats, including large ones. Gold decor, relief decors, encrustment effect give ceramics a special value.
The series inspired with Barcelona embody the free spirit of the Catalan capital. New forms and expressive combinations, stylish reproduction of trendy materials (concrete and metal) and, of course, the world-famous broken tiles mosaic – all these trends will find their place in present-day interiors.
Each of the series dedicated to Valencia brings back memories of a sunny vacation on the shores of the warm sea. Tropical plants flourish in a variety of decors, light geometric motifs intertwine, gentle colors of the sunset sky fade away. Both traditional ceramic formats and trendy hexagon became basis for this collection.
This year KERAMA MARAZZI showed a new series of ceramic granite, reflecting a multilateral and bright Spanish character. Luxurious varieties of marble, terracotta and wood creating comfort, industrial concrete and state-of-the-art metal – with a variety of materials you can express yourself in a variety of styles. The new colorful ceramic carpets, inspired by the rich artistic traditions of Spain, are worth special mention.
The Pro System porcelain tile is a new material in which the design is made by adding special components to the tile base itself. Thus, the pattern is not erased from the surface of the tile, but is preserved throughout the thickness of the material. This porcelain stoneware can be used in public places with high foot traffic. Previously Russian manufacturers could offer only the well-known salt-and-pepper tiles for this purpose. This stoneware can be decorated. The decoration is performed by ‘engraving’ with sandblasting, after which the tile is covered with a protective compound to hide the pores. In addition to the Pro System, large-format material (120x240 cm) was presented in the porcelain tile zone.
Special attention was paid to the new collection of sanitary ware and bathroom furniture PLAZA, which provides an opportunity to create 21 ready-made solutions in three different styles – classic, modern and loft.
The new Spanish Fiesta collection is already available in KERAMA MARAZZI retail stores.
