SMEG Russia, which took part in the exhibition for the first time, presented its design innovations to the guests of BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019: the refined collection of small appliances and a new version of the iconic FAB refrigerators. Visitors also had a unique opportunity to see the advanced series of Dolce Stil Novo brand in the interior designed by the Italian architect Vincenzo Stridacchio.
From March 12 to March 15, 2019, the largest exhibition of design, building and interior solutions BATIMAT RUSSIA was held at the Crocus Expo IEC. The total display area was more than 100,000 sqm. More than 1,000 companies took part in this project and offered their best solutions and modern interior products.
This year the SMEG stand was not of significant size. However, the compact format didn’t reduce its attractiveness, but only emphasized the unique retro style favored by the fans of the brand. At the entrance to the exhibition hall, BATIMAT Russia presented a refined collection of FAB refrigerators in ‘style of the 50s’ – their bright colors immediately attracted attention and the equipment became an object for Instagram stories. Next to them you could view a full assortment of small household appliances, including the latest version of planetary mixers by SMEG – with a transparent bowl.
But the most remarkable part of the SMEG exposition was one of the projects from the Integrated Solutions section. The advanced series of SMEG Dolce Stil Novo took part in the concept of the house by the Italian architect Vincenzo Stridacchio. The project titled ‘Functionality and Balance’ – an interior solution in loft style, harmonizing different functional areas in one room.
“In each project I pay special attention to style and quality, and I always look for the best solution in terms of balance,” Vincenzo Stridacchio, the author of the concept, comments. “In my opinion, the SMEG company perfectly meets both criteria and at the same time, creates a technique looking like an object of art. All series of the brand – classic, retro, modern – always turn out to be of high technical level and exclusive design. At the Batimat exhibition, I presented a loft-style kitchen and easily found products in the brand assortment that became the best choice for the project. The resulting ensemble looked spectacular, and Vincenzo studio design will continue to recommend SMEG products to all our customers.”
Visitors to the stand also became the first in Russia to get acquainted with the exclusive novelties of the brand in small equipment category – a set of instruments in the ‘bronze’ shade. This product will soon be on sale, but for now it is available exclusively in SMEG Moscow showroom.
