If at least 5% of roof spaces were greened up in the Central Administrative District of Moscow, this would add 75 hectares of green areas. Plants on the roofs of city houses – for a long time it was a dream of environmentalists and rare projects of enthusiasts. But the situation is changing. For example, the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation in April 2017 published the Order 'On the Approval of Guidelines for the Preparation of Rules for Landscaping Settlements, Urban Districts, and Intraurban Districts', which states that the area of green roofs is recommended to be taken into account when calculating territories of landscaping objects. And now the long-awaited National Standard for green roofs is coming out.
What should the designer and developer know about roof construction? Moreover, about such a complex engineering structure, as a green and walkable roof, where people and cars move. It’s no matter if this is a roof of a private house or a large public building. The conference will provide information on the first in Russia standard for green roofs, technical reports on design engineering technologies, construction and operation of green roofs, both flat and pitched.
The National Roofing Union invites you to the Conference 'Green Roof Technologies: Expanding Space for the City' to discuss the Russian National Standard GOST R 'Green and Walkable Roofs of Buildings and Structures' and what it gives to the construction industry. How to avoid mistakes when organizing the interaction of all participants in construction and operation of green roofs? The nuances of design and installation of green roofs construction will also be discussed.
