One of the main topics of discussion of the round table ‘Finnish Experience in Using Materials to Create Urban Infrastructure and a Comfortable Environment. Participation of Russian Companies in Global Production Chains’ will be the entry of Russian construction companies into the Finnish market.
At the round table, representatives of leading Finnish construction companies will talk about their business, the use of the latest materials and technologies and the possibilities of Russian suppliers to integrate into international production chains. Successful examples of Russian companies entering the Finnish market will be considered.
The Finnish construction industry has been the driver of the national economy for the last five years, reaching up to 5% per year. Dozens of landmark projects were launched and implemented (the OODI library, the new campus of the University of Helsinki, the residential quarters Tripla and Redi, the quarter of wooden houses in the center of Helsinki, Wood city, etc.).
At the same time, the production of building materials in Russia has reached a qualitatively new level, which allowed domestic companies to confidently enter the relatively closed and highly competitive Finnish market and other European markets.
The representative of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Finland will make a report on Russian-Finnish cooperation in the construction sector and assistance to Russian enterprises.
Maxim Sobolev, Marketing and Sales Director of YIT Company (the largest construction company in Northern Europe), will talk about the company business (including in the Russian market) and working with domestic suppliers.
Teppo Toyka, Procurement Manager of the KREATE Infrastructure Company, will make a presentation on infrastructure construction and the prospects for Russian companies in Finland.
Maxim Kravtsov, Development Director in the CIS Countries of Knauf Insulation, will tell about challenges of entering the Finnish market, its features and ‘pitfalls’.
