She is engaged in projects in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Cyprus. She developed her own collections of furniture, lamps, ceramic tiles and kitchens for Russian and foreign companies.
Theme: ‘Object Design. Creation of Successful Serial Models of Lamps, Ceramic Tiles and Kitchens. Experience, Secrets, Mistakes’
After graduating from the International School of Design in St. Petersburg, Olga Podolskaya began working as an interior designer, creating, in her words, ‘the space where the customer wants to return’. However Olga Podolskaya focused more on creating collections of furniture and interior items.
Lamps by Podolskaya are produced by such well-known companies as Laudarte and Selene illuminazione. As the designer considers, lamp is the unique detail able ‘to reconcile’ different styles in one space. Olga Podolskaya’s design tile – Deco series including several collections – has expanded the assortment of the Italian factory Senio. The designer made a bid for simple forms and the play of textures.
But no matter which interior details became the object of designer’s attention one thing remained unchanged: the unique character of each element. “Even when I use classic combinations, I give them a new history of relationships,” says Olga Podolskaya.
The webinar will be held in the format of a live dialogue. Olga Podolskaya will share her experience on working with both Italian and Russian manufacturers. One of her recent projects – several collections of kitchen furniture, designed specifically for the Russian company Silver Home, which have already been launched into mass production. Olga will talk about secrets and mistakes, give invaluable advice to practicing and novice professionals in the field of interior and object design.
