The Anthology presents the sixth collection in the style of brutalism. Designers were inspired by industrial spaces, walls, as well as smooth natural and artificial surfaces with soft colors and delicate, feminine accents to create these magnificent wallpapers – one of the latest trends in the design world.
The collection attracts with the contrast of innovative production technologies and such materials typical for the Anthology studio as plaster, concrete, forged and blued metal, polished, unfinished and old facades. Linda Thacker, the Anthology studio designer: “Anthology 06 is a vivid example of how something completely exceptional is born from a combination of natural and artificial forms. We wanted to show how these forms change under the influence of time and human. Using unique technologies and materials such as bulk concrete, we created a selection of organic textures that demonstrate how human interference affects the overall look.”
The stylish Anthology 06 collection includes eight types of wallpaper, made on the most up-to-date equipment using advanced production technologies, and harmoniously combined with the range of Anthology textile. Embossing and decorative elements give the wallpaper luxurious texture accents. The collection includes a wide range of colors, such as Limestone, Pumice, Ruby, Gold, Aventurine and Quartz. Minerals and natural surfaces are harmoniously contrasted with precious stones and metallic iron – the materials that form our environment. The names of patterns continue the theme of the Anthology: Anthropic reflects the influence of human on artificial surfaces, and time – on materials, Metamorphosis simulates the effect of geological changes on rocks and stone, and Pozzolana is one of the components of plaster and concrete.
