The organizers of BATIMAT RUSSIA together with the British Higher School of Art and Design (BHSAD) announced a competition among first and second year students for a project of an exhibition stand on a given topic.
The exhibition topic in 2019 is the MOOD. Is there mood in the interior, what kind of mood can it be, what is it made of? The style that has developed in a particular historical period and reflects the mood of that era. The color that has a special impact on the physical condition of the person, and also creates the first impression of the room. The textures of finishing materials and interior items that complement the aesthetic appeal, causing tactile sensations, emotions and feelings, creating a certain mood and emotional climate.
Each competitor will present interior of a specific living area for demonstration of topical solutions and furnishing options. Options for interior zones: a boutique hotel room, a lyrical bathroom, a philosophical lounge, a funny teenager room, a jazz lounge area, a fantasy office, and others. The main thing is a holistic interior solution, creation of a certain mood, emotional climate of the interior space, keeping track of functionality.
The winner’s project will be implemented at BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 exhibition, March 12—15, Crocus Expo. The winner is supposed to most fully reveal the topic of the competition, taking into account recommendations on the project configuration. Projects coming second and third will be published in pre-exhibition issue of the online BATIMAT RUSSIA digest and posted on the exhibition website.
Participation in the exhibition with a personal stand is a unique startup for a young designer and an opportunity to present yourself to the creative community. The winner’s project will be implemented involving leading manufacturers of finishing materials and utilities. The exposition of unique projects – Complex Solutions – is annually performed at the international construction and interior exhibition BATIMAT RUSSIA.
