Domestic manufacturers have successfully completed the first project for production of anodized aluminum sheets for construction industry. The manufacturer of aluminum semi-finished products “Arkonik Russia” together with the largest factory for anodizing aluminum products “Rosla” supplied products for the facade of Trekhgornaya Manufactory building.
Trekhgornaya Manufactory is the oldest Moscow textile enterprise, founded in 1799. After the main production moved outside the city limits, the existing buildings were given to offices and enterprises of third-party companies. Moscow pays special attention to the appearance of the city, including the actively reconstructed industrial zones. Location of the factory in Moscow center required a combination of qualities: preserving architectural integrity of the building and matching the appearance of a modern European city. For renovation of the facade, customers selected cassettes from anodized aluminum sheets in a silver tint. In addition to the architectural solution, the choice of aluminum products is also of practical importance – due to corrosion resistance of the oxide layer, facade of the building has become much more durable and more practical. The area of anodized facade panels was 14 thousand sqm.
Valentin Trishchenko, Chairman of the Aluminum Association
“Cooperation of domestic companies in localization and import substitution of aluminum products contributes to industry development. It is especially pleasant that the first project of this kind was implemented on the basis of the famous factory, which has cultural and historical value for the capital and the country.”
