Results of the BATIMAT INSIDE 2019 Competition

On March 14, at the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2019 International Construction and Interior Exhibition, the results of the VI All-Russian interior design competition with international participation BATIMAT INSIDE 2019 were summarized!

The award ceremony for the contest winners traditionally began with a welcoming speech of the Director of the BATIMAT RUSSIA International Construction and Interior Exhibition. Tamara Lukyanenko, on behalf of the founders of the competition, congratulated all the participants and noted the annual growth of the geography and quality of the competition entries. This year, more than 200 projects by designers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have entered the competition.

The award ceremony held in the format of Design Dialogues was attended by famous architects and designers – members of the competition jury. Elena Teplitskaya, an artist, designer, decorator, fashion designer, stylist, host of TV programs on design, gave a master-class on the Irony in Interior Design. Using the example of the Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Elena convinced all those present that irony was one of the most important ingredients of good design, and advised them to learn how to use it.

Victoria Kiorsak, an interior designer, head of Victoria Kiorsak Interiors and Architecture, art director and mastermind of Silverdragon.london, owner of the gallery of art and design, founder of the online school for interior design – The ABC of Professional Design, told about the differences in designer’s work in Russia and abroad. Real professionals are united by attentive attitude to needs of the customer and needs of the market, which allows to create an inspiring and profitable project.

Alexander Radoske, an architect, one of the founders of Hollin + Radoske architectural bureau in Frankfurt am Main, working in Germany since 1997, gave an expert assessment to two projects – House on Mosfilmovskaya and The Varvara Cafe – interiors featuring an escape from triviality, where the combination of design and architecture creates good vibes and sympathetic atmosphere.

This year, the leading construction companies became partners of the competition prize fund: KNAUF, HANAK, ESCO LIGHT, DECON and REMMERS. The winners, who took the 1st place in all nominations, were presented with gift certificates of 50,000 rubles for products of the companies – partners of the competition.
