Results of the Innovations-2016 competition
For the third time, did the International Construction and Interior Trade Fair BATIMAT RUSSIA and the Board of Experts in Interior Design and Architectural Space (CEID) hold the Innovations contest among BATIMAT RUSSIA exhibitors. The purpose of the contest was to showcase the most advanced and promising innovative products, materials and technologies in the areas of architecture, design, construction and décor.
This year, the panel of judges included Sergei Shustov, Chairman of the Board of Experts in Interior Design and Architectural Space, Yuri Khakhanov, representative of the Skolkovo Foundation, Tatyana Zimogorova, editor-in-chief of the magazine Ideas of Your Home, Anna Hatskevitch, deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine Ideas of Your Home, Victor Polukhin, science editor of the magazine Ideas of Your Home, and Vadim Kovalyov, Vladimir Grigoriev, Boris Bezel and Ekaterina Ovchinnikova, columnists of the same publication.
In total, 31 innovative products were submitted for review by the expert panel.
After deliberations, Novoproject, a company that presented a new generation snow melting system, was recognized the best in the “Efficiency” nomination.
Keramopen, a material developed by KERAPEN, was announced as the leader in the “Novelty” nomination.
The winner in the “Environmental Friendliness” nomination was another Russian company, CJSC UZPT Mayak, which exhibited a smart sleeve for the repair of pipeline systems designed for multiple purposes.
The special nomination of the Skolkovo Foundation was won by the following companies:
- CoTechC LLC, with its DEEPIPE Composite project, unique new generation pipes;
- NPO Autonomous Solutions LLC, with a project called “Energy-Efficient Autonomous House,” which features buildings designed for the Russian climate and constructed using standard building materials;
- Thermo Glass LLC, with its Thermo Glass heated window project.
According to the common opinion of market experts, participation in the Innovations contest is a perfect chance to tell about one’s company to both industry professionals and prospective clients. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to establish new partnership relationships and to immerse in the relevant context of advanced technologies and materials in the area of architecture, construction and design.
