Master Classes of the Moscow Building and Architectural Colleges

Moscow colleges will hold master classes on new technologies for applying decorative finishes using such techniques as 'high-tech silk', travertine and tunto, laying flooring, stucco decoration, performing topographic survey and other works with Leica TS 16A robotic tacheometer, will show how to make meander / ornament and column.
Teachers and college students will conduct master classes in decorative finishes and introduce new plastering technologies. They will show you how to make meander and column. Visitors will also get an opporutnity to try the profession of a woodworker and perform simple wood carving on the joiner's bench.
At the master class 'Painting and Decorative Finishes in Modern Construction' various materials for decorative finishing will be used – fine-grained Tunto, Traventino, various stencils, as well as color tinting.
The process of making gypsum elements will be shown at the master class in stucco decoration. Masters will demonstrate the manufacture of rectilinear or radius mouldings and decorative elements from gypsum plaster.
Participants of the 'Woodworker' class will get acquainted with materials and tools: they will learn how to select materials, make joinery, perform woodcarving, carpentry and other woodworking.
At the master-class on topographic survey, you will learn how to perform the key elements of this survey for creating a site plan, which is necessary for construction, design and landscaping both at the initial stage and for monitoring during construction and after the work has been performed. The master class will be led by the winners of WorldSkills Russia competitions under the guidance of an expert.
All master classes of Moscow colleges are held with the support of the Department of Urban Development Policy of the City of Moscow.
